A Valentine’s Day Playlist by Isaac Hindin Miller and Jenny Albright

Meet Jenny Albright and Isaac Hindin Miller: The impossibly attractive, charming, DJ-ing power couple currently dominating New York’s music scene and #relationshipgoals. Clearly, mixing business with pleasure is working out quite well for the pair who not only get to do what they love, but they get to do so with their right-hand person. We caught up them to talk music, the perfect date night and how they met.

We love your love story! How did you two meet?
Jenny: “We met at an after party during New Zealand Fashion Week in 2010. Isaac was secretly having his friends take photos of him grinding up on me! We became friends in New Zealand, hung out in Paris after that, and then Isaac moved to New York a few months later. We’ve spent pretty much every day together for the past five years, but have been romantic since May 2015.”

How did Isaac Likes Jenny come about? What’s it like DJ’ing with your significant other?
Isaac: “We used to go out to clubs in New York together about five nights a week. We knew all the club owners and they started asking us to throw parties for them, but we decided we’d rather DJ instead. We got our start playing at Up and Down. We had no idea what we were doing, so we took lessons and played everywhere and took every opportunity we could get until we got our skills up.”

If you had to pick a theme song for your relationship, what would it be?
Isaac: “Forever by Drake.”

Describe your perfect date night.
Jenny: “Well, on Saturday nights we DJ at Handy Liquor Bar in Soho (come see us!), and we always have dinner beforehand at Chalk Point Kitchen, which is the restaurant upstairs. It’s like the calm before the storm, and it’s a good opportunity to catch up on the week.”

What’s your favorite thing about each other?
Jenny: “He’s the best people-person I know. He gets along with everybody! He’s also very generous and funny and I can count on him for anything.”
Isaac: “Jenny’s always in a good mood. She has an extremely even, positive temperament—like a walking, talking namaste—and she always has nice things to say about everybody.”
